Proverbs 31:22- ‘‘She makes tapestry for herself her clothing is fine linen and purple.’’

 

Women with skill will find it easier to gain financial independence quicker if they put the right systems in place with the income coming from their skills. These skills have been groomed and sharpened with great abilities and can now be deployed for wealth creation.

 

God had put a gift in every woman. Some have found out what their gifts are others have not. Knowing your gifts, talents and natural abilities helps you to find your way to your wealthy place faster. Some women leave their gift and talents lying fallow to pursue a career that they think looks executive. Not coming to the understanding that every profession is noble and none is less that the other.

 

The woman in verse 22 makes clothing; she seems to be a fashion designer who designs her own clothing. She no longer pays tailors and seamstresses. She finds time to dress for her house hold. This is very admirable she has trained herself in this capacity therefore she can apply the skill at home.

 

It’s great to learn hands on skill.  It is like an addition to you. If you notice you have a flare for something, don’t delay, go and train and polish the skill. I studied lithography when I left school but I had a flare for hair and beauty. I trained myself in this capacity. Now am moving into teaching people career paths in this line of industry.

 

I still use my lithographic training from time to time, but the passion for beauty has taken me places and bought fulfillment to my life  It’s great to have hand skill.

 

Find out what gift or talents God has given to you and use them well. It will bring you great fulfilment in life and glorify God.
