Proverbs 31:12 ‘’She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life ’’

Cultivating the virtue of goodness starts from loving God truthfully and sincerely.

When the love of God is being shed abroad in our hearts, it will flow to others around us. Goodness will be part of the life style of the woman. 

A good woman does not wait to receive good deeds before she responds with a good act. She flows in goodness reaching out to others starting from her own household.  To her husband and children, and indeed her whole family, friends and colleagues, she extends her good character and lives a  lifestyle of the God kind of love. This is an attitude that permits goodness to grow.

This is her way of living even if her husband, children, family members, friends and colleagues have done evil, she will remain good. It is easy to do good to the people that do you good. Doing good to an evil person takes grace. If you husband children, some family members, friends and colleagues are not doing you good, you the woman of God has to be good. Surround them with love. God can use this good heart of yours to melt evil stony hearts. Pray for grace.

The woman in the scripture above does good to her husband all days of her life. Not on and off basis, not seasonal not when things are rosy or there is a salary raise or their business is booming. She does him well all the time and not evil. Have you ever been tempted to do evil back to someone who does evil to you? You are not strange that’s the human tendencies to pay back evil for evil. The word says overcome evil with good. Resist the temptation to try to pay back evil instead rise up and do good in return for evil done to you. God is in charge and  He will judge.

A virtuous power woman has no place for evil to thrive in her heart. Go extend your good deeds from love in your heart to others starting from your household.
