Proverbs 31:18- ‘‘She is not afraid of the snow, for her household is clothed with scarlet’’.

Being a great planner and being ahead of things can put you in a place of advantage. To be a planner takes away the stress from your life working in advance puts you ahead of many around you. It positions you to achieve your goals with little or no sweat. It makes you ready for life’s contingencies and you become a scout with the motto 'Be Prepared'.

Living in Europe for a very good while made me to understand that planning for winter is very important. Having warm clothing, heating should be in perfect working order, your fire-place ready if you use one. More money for utility bills as you will consume more. If you are not prepared you will suffer cold and freeze to death unless the government comes to your aid.

The woman above is always - not sometimes or when she can manage it - prepared for winter. Winter is a sought of rough and tough weather.  The trees lose their freshness, flowers looks as if they are all dead and the land looks like we have a standstill in production.

There are winters seasons in our lives that we need to prepare for. Don't  wait till everything starts to crumble upon you  and you are weighed down with stress before you rise to up to do something. This lifestyle of planning ahead starts from small things like your clothes arranged for the week, not ironing one every morning. Your hair-do ready for the week - if you are an African woman-  European women have a rather easier texture to deal with but it still needs to be kept in a descent state. Meals and shopping can be ready for the week. Not running to the grocery shop every day. The kid’s uniforms and clothes ready. If you are a student get ready your assignments done before their due date. Put your life in order, and then you can plan for your retirement, your investments for the future, your kid’s college and so on. 

This habit starts from the everyday issues of life. When you are ready before hand, your life is peaceful. While others are running all over the place, you relax. No nerves or tension. Things are under control -you are ahead with your organising. The scarlet clothing in the scripture is describing the beauty and peace of being well ready for the coming day.

We are trying to get a building for Inner court college am not waiting till we have all in place am going ahead with the school curriculum, course contents and schemes of work. It’s a great life style to copy. Go and be a planner.
