The established woman; My Finances

The established woman series has very interesting topics to help you become an established woman in various areas of your life. Kindly go to www.womenspowerhour.co.uk on our build me up power archive you will follow on this important series.

Today we will be looking at ‘My finances’. Money is an important aspect of a woman’s life. Learning to organise financial activities; making streams of income, budgeting, getting out of debt, stopping impulse buying, understanding your needs and want, and delayed gratification. With all these put together in perspective a woman should be able to find a route to financial freedom.

There are different types of women with different financial capabilities. We have the working class career woman. She might have been trained or groomed herself in a particular field and now she has deployed that training into a job where she gets her income from. She depends on her monthly or weekly pay cheque for her income. To receive more she might get a raise depending on circumstances in the office and how things are run. She can also depend on promotion for more income or work extra hours to get more money. If not she might need to work 2 or 3 jobs to bring in more income. The advantage of this is she makes more money. The disadvantage is she has less time for her kids and family. She is not there to see her kids grow up. She also has less or no time to enjoy the money she is making. If she is not careful she will lose grips of her marriage as there is not much time to put into building a strong relationship. She is making more money with her time.

We also have the business woman who runs a business. She owns her job, she is secured and cannot be sacked, layed off, or redundant as the job is hers. This woman works harder as it’s no more a 9-5 thing she wants her business to be successful and productive to bring in the desired income. She has an advantage in that if she wants more income she can increase her production or add more time to her working hours to increase the income. She concentrates on making profits as profits are better than wages. The establish business owner has the potential to make the career woman’s salary in one week. I don’t say go leave your job and start a business as a successful business is much more than the profit margin realised. This woman has income potential capabilities.

There is this other woman she is an investor her money works for her. She don’t wake up and do 9am-5pm she don’t own the job like the lady above, she controls the people that own the jobs. She does a lot of analyzing and risking. She invests in many businesses, example properties, stocks and bonds, shares, gold diamond etc. She put out her money and it goes out to bring returns or daily turnover according to the business climate. She is in a good position to make lots of income without so much sweat and stress as she is not physically involve in the running of the daily task to man the business to its success. Its a place where most women want to be. This takes careful planning and discipline to route yourself to this stage of financial potential.

There is another different woman she is a bit different from the ones discussed earlier on. She is not a career woman, not in ministry, she don’t own her job, she is not an investor for returns. She is at home raising great kids and being a good wife. Her husband supply all of the finances to meet her needs. Most women envy such women and would like to be in their position to enjoy life’s frivolities in a free package. The disadvantages these women suffer are if anything happens to their husbands finances they are wrecked. If death took their husbands or anything happen to their marriage or relationship they become zero women.  They were at the mercy of their husbands finances. The modern day 21st century woman doesn’t like to be in this position. She loves her independence and will like to contribute alongside the husband to successfully run the home. It’s a bit dicey position to be in if you find yourself there pray and ask God what to do.

To have a stable flow and build a financially strong life for now and in the future the woman must consider being in one of the above categories. If you are in none of the above know that you are not en route to your financial freedom. Making income generating activities a priority it can help lead you to a place of stable finances. Don’t just sit and pray, faith without works is dead. Get up do something to raise your finances. It’s not ok not to have a penny to your name wake up and think this is an important area. If not sorted can lead to so many women living degrading lives, turn to prostitution, blaming their parents or past failures, turning to gambling, drugs and other illegal financial routes.

God wants to be in the middle of our financial plans, careers, businesses, investment activities so that he can lead and direct our paths for ‘there is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof are the ways of death’. God want to lead us in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. He desires the best for you and that includes your finances turn it over to Him today and He will lead you aright.
